BACKGROUND:
SAYMAR STONE INC. takes great pride that it is a multi-generation family owned company, with nearly 30 years of experience and dedication to the stone trade. The business was started in 1980 by Tony E. Sayegh, who with his brother Sam Sayegh has put SAYMAR in the top tier of the most selective group of Importers-Distributors of natural stone on the East Coast. Today, they are joined by Tony’s son, Tony E. Sayegh, Jr., and nephew Joseph W. Sayegh, who represent the second generation from the Sayegh family to join the business.
Based in Long Island City, New York, SAYMAR is a leading Importer and
Distributor of granite, marble, limestone, travertine, onyx and slate, open for the public to view in our two warehouse locations in the New York Metropolitan area. SAYMAR also has cut-to-size capabilities based out of our architectural design partnership office in Verona, Italy for the benefit of our commercial development clients.
Over the past three decades, SAYMAR and our associated companies have supplied many prestigious jobs. They ranged from 300,000. Sq Ft. of Brazilian Black Granite for the outside cladding of 1155 Avenue of the Americas to the kitchens at 515 Park Avenue in French Limestone.
We have supplied the stone for many other extensive lobby and cladding projects in New York City and Washington, D.C., most notably the Blaire House. Our stone has been used in extensive projects for Gap, Banana Republic and H&M stores as well as kitchen/bathroom projects in many new construction high-rise buildings in the New York Metropolitan area.
SAYMAR inventories are among the finest in the trade. We feature over 400 colors and have tens of thousands of slabs ready to be selected and delivered from our warehouse facilities located in Long Island City, Queens and Mineola, Long Island.
